The terms that govern your use of the CareShed platform.
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of the CareShed platform (the "Service"), provided by CareShed. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are registering on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that organisation.
CareShed is a care management platform that helps care providers manage staff, service users, scheduling, care plans, interactions, and payroll. CareShed is a software tool; it does not itself provide care, and it is not a substitute for professional clinical judgement.
Care provider accounts are created through self-registration; support worker, service user, and guardian accounts are created and managed by the relevant care provider. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis as described at checkout. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change our pricing with reasonable notice; continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
You agree not to: use the Service for any unlawful purpose; attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or systems; upload malicious code; or use the Service in a way that could compromise the safety, privacy, or dignity of any service user.
Care providers remain the data controller for the personal and care data they enter into the Service and are responsible for ensuring they have a lawful basis for processing it. CareShed processes this data as a data processor, in line with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law.
The Service, including its software, design, and content, is owned by CareShed and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the data you input into the Service.
We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may carry out scheduled maintenance or make changes to the Service from time to time.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CareShed is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to the safety or security of other users.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to registered account holders. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
